If the car ended up in the tree top from above, that’s not so good; if from below, then it’s fairly impressive!

Did a dog chase them up the tree?

Another lost golf ball lost in the rough due to an inexperienced driver.

That explains some people’s squirrelly driving.

Well, I had to go, and it’s the only tree around….

I’m sure that’s the last time either one will drive.

I blame the dog

You let a squirrel drive? That’s nuts!

That is where chasing a squirrel will get you if you let the dog drive.

I thought he’d prefer flying instead.

I always own an old pickup truck. One incarnation of this vehicle was a Bronco II that I nicknamed, “The Clampettmobile.” It’s successor was a Chevy S-100 that I dubbed “Taliban Military Surplus.” The current version is a 32-year-old Dodge Dakota that I call “Methuselah.”

According to the vehicle title, I owned the Clampettmobile. In reality, it belonged to my golden retriever, Ike (Sir. Isaac Newton, but we hardly ever called him that). I was NOT allowed to drive the vehicle without him being in it.

So I took the dog everywhere I went with the truck.

One such trip was to the bagel shop. When I got out of the store, the dog was sitting behind the wheel. I opened the door, and said, “Move over. I’m driving. The last time you drove, it wasn’t pretty.” The woman getting into the car next to me lost it.

This reminds me of one of my earliest P.D. Eastman early reader books, “Go Dog Go!” where dogs were driving a car and wound up on the top of a tree just like this.

He’s a great driver. He got exactly where he wanted to go.

Ya know if you had a Tesla you would have not ended up in this position…

And he kept getting half way through intersections and stopping.

He wanted to do a little off-roading.

But he does enjoy being chased in the roundabouts.

The little guy must be a flying squirrel.

There is a photo out on the internet with the caption “Falcon in a tree”. Sure enough, there is a Ford Falcon resting on the branches.
