I live in a condo. An HOA makes sense. Out in single family houses, I would not like it and would refuse to buy a house that was part of one.

HOA’s were power mad authoritarians before it became fashionable.

HOAs may look good on paper, but the devil is in the details … and woe to any complex that is invaded by corporate wolves that buy their way into a majority of units owned and oppress individual owners with “special assessments” …!

HOA: “Re-Seed!”

Homeowner: “Recede!”
