I always wear insulated pants in very cold temperatures. The cold North wind won’t blow throughthe flannel lining and your legs stay warm. Great invention for sure !

That is not a hat- it is a TOQUE!

Maria, you forgot the signal flares, rescue dog with a barrel of Rum, heated vest and socks.

It may not make as good a comic, but, better yet………indoors!!!

Not so much running as walking like a penguin. Snow covered ice. BTW-I’m big on neck gaiters. Don’t care for icy wind down my neck. Of course I have to deal with my glasses frosting up.

And you create a personalized windchill factor.

Out here in Colorado the runners are still out in their shorts, etc. even when the temps are in the 20’s(F). Guess they are hardier stock than the ones in the northeast. Still, I think they are a bubble or two off.

In the summer when it’s so danged hot we go to the air conditioned gym.

Sounds about right.

In grad school, one of my profs used to go running in all kinds of weather. One very cold morning I saw him with a mitten sticking out of his waistband & asked him what that was about. He gave a sheepish little grin & replied: “My p€nis gets cold.”

I’d add to the list, someone is chasing me with a lethal weapon. I’m active, but long distance running has never been a passion.☺️

My yaktrax have enabled me to get up and down the foot of snow covering the hill in my front yard.

But the suns out. That should keep you warm enough.

Why would you want to run (outside) in that weather??
