I guess Stantis admires the pardons, the tariffs, the firings, and the drunk Secretary.

We know for sure that Stantis believes pardoning 1500 violent felons and the world’s biggest drug dealer is totally equivalent to Biden’s preemptive pardons to prevent persecution.

    .

And magats have been very reluctant to comment on Their Messiah’s first week actions.

I know it’s not likely, but it’s possible some of the have learned what a tariff is. Maybe we’ll see. Maybe not.

Yes, it has been one week.

    In seven days

Trump has managed to insult and alienate Canada, Panama, Greenland, Denmark, Mexico and Colombia.

Trump has managed to free 1,500 violent insurrectionist thugs who beat on-duty police officers with baseball bats, sticks, clubs and flagpoles and also sprayed them with bear spray while flinging their fecal matter like zoo monkeys. I’m sure our streets are much safer now.

Trump has managed to set the stage for higher groceries, housing and anything imported from overseas or made with any parts from overseas.

Trump has not managed to end the war in Ukraine, which he promised to do within 24 hours.

Trump promised to end “DEI” hires and hire solely on merit, and then got a Secretary of Defense confirmed (the first time in history a Defense Secretary confirmation required a VP tie-breaking vote) who had ZERO qualifications for the job and plenty of reasons to question his fidelity, morality and sobriety.

Trump promised to immediately lower grocery prices and he specifically name-checked eggs.

In seven days, the price of eggs has skyrocketed 38%.

It’s a wonder, especially after four years under the destructive regime of 46.

This is rapidly becoming my favourite strip.

We have to try and laugh about what’s happening to maintain our sanity and use today (the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz) to remind us such atrocities must never happen again

And it will continue to stand, in spite of our difficulties. Strength through thick and thin is our thing!

Fort Sumter wasn’t a concern until it was, on April 12 1861.

A# 466 starts with a false premise. She did not criticize Trump. She asked for mercy for people who are scared.

“Let me make one final plea, Mr. President,” Bishop Mariann Budde said in her 15-minute sermon. “Millions have put their trust in you. And as you told the nation yesterday, you have felt the providential hand of a loving God. In the name of our God, I ask you to have mercy upon the people in our country who are scared now,” said Budde, as she appeared to look towards the president.

    [Real] Facts matter.

Concerning today’s Clay Jones, my current deepest wish would be for musky, et al to take a trip to Mars. These arrogant bleeps can’t discipline themselves for anything. Do you know how much self restraint it takes to take a space craft to another planet and actually survive the trip? These clowns would blow up the ship before they passed the moon. So many jokes.

Between Moron and Robberhood, which one is Fern? Based on number of comments, I’d say Robberhood.

Caught the latest DMZ podcast yesterday. On the down side, Stanti let Ted roll right along with the comment that Ukraine antagonize Russia into attacking them

#sigh. On the interesting side, Scott and Ted both posited an idea I’ve had for several years, that we should try to get Russia into NATO.

It’ll stay standing. Americans are more resilient than you’d think. Oh, don’t get me wrong: Once Jan 20, 2029 rolls around, we’re gonna have one big heapin’ stink-mess to clean up (Trump’s done a FANTASTIC job so far of destroying and taking us back to the 1950s), but it WILL get done. The nationalists and isolationists won’t have their way. They never do.

Carmen, you may have spoken too soon. As I read this on 01.31.2025 they have shut down many federal websites and the purges of FAA FBI, DOJ and other personnel has left the US vulnerable to so many attacks or accidents. We are weak in the eyesof our enemies and stupid in the eyes of our former allies.
