Unfortunately “A little French” has a second meaning…

She lucked out. She could have been sent to the guidance counselor’s office who would have called Children’s Protective Services to make a house call and look for signs of some sorts of abuse keeping her awake all night.

She is going to fall asleep or the principal will fall asleep

Then why are you falling asleep Patty?

Why is she talking to an old antique desk as if it was conscious, and calling it ‘sir’?

And did the animated desk ask her if she was a board?

Maybe if she stayed on her toes, she’d stay awake..?
