There were probably clowns in his coffee too.

I remember when this song first came out (1972, I was 13), it didn’t take long for one of my friends to change it “clouds” to “clowns” (another chose “frogs,” for some reason).

There is a line from a Dylan classic made popular by Peter, Paul and Mary: ‘the ants are blowing in the wind.’

Thanks, I had forgotten the song. Now I’ll have to spend months forgetting it. She was not as good as an auteuse as a commercial pop tune writer.
