Every time I go to CVS and buy something, they ask if you want to round up. I tell them I want to start rounding down. They don’t make enough so they want charity?

Re today’s editorial cartoon: generally they are excellent. Today’s was excellenter.

By “round up” I meant let’s make meatballs.

I like the version with the border collie better.

I grew up with it, so it’s natural to me. I can understand it’s inconsistencies are frustrating to one learning it.

On that note – I wish I could speak more than one language. I tried to learn conversational German years ago, but my tinnitis was so bad that I could not distinguish between words the instructor said…

My high school did not offer languages (1961-1964, rural Alabama).
