Kittens are adorable, and I know you have had some less than happy encounters with cats, but waaay in your future, you will actually have a cat friend, and you will actually like Kitty. No, it’s true. I know you don’t believe me, but it’s true.

It’s too bad they don’t stay kittens, when they’re so small they fit in your hand. Cats are great but kittens are better!

My Dad used to express the same feelings as Fred. He often complained about cats but he once commented – while watching kittens on TV – “Kittens are lovely. Too bad they grow up to be cats!”.

Now is the time to think about protecting him, Fred!

That could turn in to another Garfield that treat Fred like Odie.

The only problem with a kitten is that

It grows up to be a cat!

Said to be from Ogdon Nash, but, that’s not really how he said it. He said “The trouble with a kitten is that it eventually becomes a cat.”

True that.

It could still be sweet!

I love cats at every stage. However, I prefer adult cats. The older they get the more loving they become.

I learned from FreeKibble, that the Basset Hound was developed in France as was the Brittany Spaniel. I would have thought they’d be of British origin.

Fred such is life …. Thus we must enjoy it while we can ;-)

That thing is smaller than Yorkie!

Reminds me of mine. When I got her she’d had kittens, but I could easily pick her up with one hand. Later on, I was disappointed to all of a sudden note that I couldn’t do that any more! (I still love her, though!)

Obviously Fred is intimidated by superior beings.

Didn’t there used to be a cat that frequented Fred’s garden?

Don’t be horrible fred. Cats and dogs can be friends and look out for each other.
