At least she was quiet. I remember when I was that age and fidgeting around like that, I’d have caught he11 from MY mother!

Well, she SAT. Still? Not so much…

Patterson’s art never fails to charm, no matter what style she chooses. Every frame is perfect. Her powers of observation are impressive.

Now that is true motherhood! To fly back just after arriving on vacation in Mexico to take your daughter to the dental appointment – even though she is married to a dentist with his own practice – who stayed behind in Mexico!

Being told to sit down, be quiet, and stop fussing about for 20 minutes is darn near torture for some kids!

Well, April did ‘occupy’ the same chair for the twenty minutes. Surprised the wait was only for twenty minutes to see the doctor.

When I was young, waiting in the Doctor’s or Dentist’s office filled me with horrible dread, like waiting for the gallows.

Yeah, right!

in any case you at least stuck around the same chair… sort of. :j

She may be getting the required shots to start school in the behind.

For years I never went anywhere without a book. When we (son and I) had to wait in any waiting room, I’d quietly read to him. A few times, I had other kids come sit by us to hear the story.

With the word “still” being a relative word in April’s case.

That counts! Ellie should be proud of her, and it appears that she is.

For a child of that age, she did pretty well.

I lay still for 2 hours for outpatient surgery. The surgeon asked if I could. I preferred that to general anesthesia. And the third dose of the medicine got me through.

Amazing. Suddenly she can form complete sentences and didn’t say “Aypo sit still twenny mints!”

YEAH RIGHT!!
