My mother would have been 100 today. Happy heavenly birthday, Mom!

Ice makes all kinds of weird sounds as it expands and contracts. Once you get used to it, it’s actually cool to listen to.

If Henry heard the creak I’m pretty sure Louie did as well with his far superior hearing – unless Louie was focused on food at the moment.

OT : great news for me!My daughter had a son at age 23 and she was not involved with the father and wasn’t emotionally or physically ready to deal with it, so we raised him for about 6 months (I have had 4 spine surgeries and I couldn’t raise another kid at age 51!) and a distant cousin of her best friend adopted him. HE called me last week out of the blue! He is 15 now! We spoke for almost an hour and gave him his mom’s number. She’s is a better place. I was soooooooo happy! He was so polite and grateful that we gave him to a family that would love and raise him well. He wants to get to know us! One of the happiest moments of my life!!!

Yup—better safe than sorry, with the ice. We can’t have anything bad happen to our heroes here …
