1st sales pitch:

Is there really such a thing as loving telemarketing jobs? “Hello sir/madam, I’m from…”

Well Horace, if you get the job, and you call me, I won’t be rude to you. I probably won’t pick up, and if I do so by mistake, I’ll hang up without saying anything more once I realize that you’re selling something.

I’d hate to work as a telemarketer myself. Actually, I’d hate to work in any kind of sales. But I guess it is better than starvation.

The company gives away vacations to time-share properties. All you have to do is attend a special dinner party…!

That should really be a perfectly valid reason to actually say in an interview. Like it’s not the same thing for the interviewer themselves at times, let’s be honest here. :P
