Actually, spine replacement surgery might do Cranky some good. Maybe then he could finally tell Lena her brownies are wretched and she’s a lousy bowler.

Lena manages their jobs and can fire if she so desires.

1) Since the current month is February, 30 days is 2 days longer than “a month”.

2) If he gets his back replaced, will that stop him from backing over mailboxes?

Never hear good things about back surgery. Might not be the way to go.

Reminds me of the ground hog day thing I told my students. If he sees his shadow, Spring is six weeks away. If he doesn’t, it is only a month and a half.

Years ago, when I had a herniated disc that blew, I had two options. Surgery to immediately get the pressure of the spinal cord, but then six months recovery from surgery. Or, forego the surgery, do physical therapy, and be better in six months. I chose the non-cutting route

Let me see, a month of driving to the clinic, sitting in the waiting room to see the therapist, going through the therapy itself, and driving home aching and exhausted, or sitting on the couch for 30 days with chips, pizza, beer and streaming all the service has to offer is an easy choice. It’s February, so there’s not much going on in he garden just yet.

With any luck, it’s a month with 31 days, so Ed will make out by doing nothing!

How about a sacral-to-cranium swap?
