Kids, I have lots of snow in front of my place. Take away whatever you want. Particularly what’s on the walkway to my door. You will be able to build a great sledding hill. No kidding.

I’m always fascinated by the bits of snow that stay around after most all the other snow has melted. What keeps it hanging around and why?

I’m plowing snow this morning. We just had 24 hours of blizzard conditions. Half my driveway is bare, but the other half has snow…some drifts are three feet high.

It’s -7 here right now and we’re buried in snow. I decided not to Winter south this year and I’m regretting that decision.

We’ve got lots of snow left, with a nice shiny crunchy coating from the freezing rain over the weekend. Lots of nice icy patches on the sidewalks. We’re so lucky.

This is a month too soon.

I’m retuning home later today to Massachusetts after six days in South Carolina (for my daughter’s wedding — yay!). It will be interesting to see what my driveway looks like.

Every time our snow melts away, we just get hit with more. You can come here and sled ride all you want.

Just got back from several days up in northern Michigan. Got home and my son had cleaned off our Ohio sidewalk and steps for us. I may let him borrow my snow blower!

I actually did have a kid ask for and take some of the snow from my place! Of course it was from the big pile at the end of the drive AFTER I’d shoveled everything clean…

After the snow in Florida, this is exactly how I felt. It’s not like we can just wait until the next snowfall to play again.
