Humans are not the only one perceiving those vibrations. I never understood why anglophones keep asking that stupid question.

Sound is a branch of acoustical physics so, yes, the falling tree would make a sound…always has and always will.

My trouble with the, “No,” answer is it suggests without us being “involved” the world has no meaning. I find that megalomaniacal.
