At least DOGE is being challenged by the courts, and that the hoo hah over the cuts are giving the Democratic minorities in the House and Senate their voice. In a few weeks, there will be two special elections in FL (one for Matt Gaetz’s old district). Hopefully, the Democrats will win one or both of them. If they win both, the Democrats will go from a 215 seat minority in the House, to a 217 seat majority. Last January, in a special election, a Democratic candidate in OH won a State Senate seat in a district Trump won last November. So it’s possible that the Democrats can gain a majority (albeit a slim one) in the House before the midterms. But people need to show up in that special election.
Democrats complained that “Democracy is on the ballot” but they seem unwilling to defend that democracy now that we’re in danger of losing it forever. They’re out here sending fundraising emails and pretending the whole “project 2025” thing caught them by surprise. Musk is actively destroying the federal government acting like he is president, and their best answer so far is “he shouldn’t do that”. Yeah, no sh!t Sherlock, WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO ABOUT IT?
Hakeem Jeffries is saying there’s nothing he can do because the republicans controlling the government won’t let him act. I’ve said for years that this is how Democrats operate, so at least he’s finally telling us that he needs permission from republicans before he’s allowed to do anything. Even my own Democratic rep parrots this nonsense.
The few 3rd tier Democrats going to government office buildings are acting stymied by some random d!pshit who doesn’t work for anyone putting his hand up, like that prevents them from entering the Treasury or USAID or any other federal offices. Even though they are supposedly powerful people within the government, with the right to enter any of those buildings.
And then you have geriatrics like Gerry Connolly going on TV telling everyone they can’t wait to work with the people destroying the Constitution they told us they’d protect. Sending out a message that whatever republicans want is ok, but let’s try to make it nicer somehow, I guess.
Democrats have proven in the current moment that they are just a useless bunch of idiots who have never — and will never — actually fight for the people they represent.
Musk is the distraction. tRump’s ego reigns supreme. Let Musk get a little glory and tRump will turn on him in a minute. Only Putin out ranks the tRump ego; and that is based on fear.
Mush is not president! Use his proper title: Puppetmaster. I’m guessing he’ll be battling the old puppetmaster (Putin) to see who has their hand further up the Orange Peril’s a$$.
The NLRB has 24 complaints they have been following up regarding Mush or his companies. Now, the puppetmaster has gutted the NLRB so they can’t follow up on any of them. Funny how that works….
I understand that, after Mush has concluded the decimating of the United States government, he’ll be mounting an effort to purchase and expand UBER into aviation, using his recently developed pilotless, solar-equipped, battery-operated airplanes.
Yes, you will soon be able to utilize your smartphone to schedule private flights.
Think of it, you’ll be able to fly from New York to Miami on sunny days for only $45 (and 4,096 “AA” sized batteries if it’s cloudy).
I’m told that eventual expansion will be named: FUBAR, and former Boeing CEO Dennis “You SAID you wanted a window seat – here’s one in your lap” Muilenburg will lead this effort.
Remember 2017 when Bannon had tRump’s ear? As soon as Bannon went too far tRump threw him under the bus. Musk just has more money. tRump has the power.

Luckily, Elon Musk is naturalized so he’s ineligible to serve as president.
