What is the first word of the bottom left sign? Looks like Aboid, but couldn’t find a definition. Thought maybe Avoid, but really funny looking V.

PC 31 says we’ve caught a dirty one.

The husband may have forgiven her, but he always slept with one eye open after that.

My parents used to like a ‘40s pop tune, an imitation calypso, called “Stone Cold Dead in the Market.” It was about a woman who murders her husband with a frying pan. The refrain ends, "I didn’t kill nobody but my husband."

I’d love to see those patterns at the local Michaels. The upper right one might even inspire me to risk the punctures of needlework.

A happy ending and those needleworks are so cool. No wonder the peculiar island population appreciates them.
