The 3 cat vids that have stayed in my memory are: 1) A bird dive-bombing a cat, pecking its butt, and the cat flipping over in the air; 2) A cat sneaking up on the video-taker. Each time the camera swings back, the cat is frozen, but closer (like a Weeping Angel!); and 3) The absolute cutest I have ever seen, a kitten that reacts to the video-taker’s hand suddenly spreading out by also spreading out its “arms”…

I would leave A&J if it weren’t for the very occasional appearances of Luddie.

The ancient Egyptians revered cats as gods. Cats have never forgotten that.

Well, they say they were worshipped in ancient Egypt.

One of the golden ages. Egypt has been mentioned quite a bit in the comments, but we also have the ‘Morris’ years which, for better or for worse begat the ‘Meow Meow’ song.

I think the golden age was ancient Egypt. This is the silver age.
