That kind of silence is worrisome.

The Church and the world have been graced to have Francis this long. Let’s pray that whenever his time of transition comes, he’s ready to pass on serenely.

“What will the world do without his voice?”

Pretty much what they’ve been doing “with” his voice… i.e., not let what he has said influence their actions.

He says some nice things, but they don’t in any way affect the actions of those in power.

I saw a brief video from The Associated Press today showing a rainbow that appeared over the hospital room of Pope Francis. I thought that was pretty interesting – and maybe a hope for his recovery? fingers crossed

The world is gonna suffer. He has double pneumonia now. I don’t think it will be long and then the Vatican is gonna put someone in there on the alt-right and I am done.

Keep the commandments and “The greatest of these is LOVE.” Whatever new voice emerges needs that as its theme. As an Episcopalian, I tend to “channel” Bishop Curry on this matter.

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven,” let us pray that the transition, when it comes, is peaceful and leads to a season of greater peace.
