Our sweet Oliver is too trusting to be alarmed for long. He would open the door if he could reach the handle.

I need to clean out the ‘shred’ box. It’s full and a lot of stuff can just go into the recycle box.

I’ll do you one better – you hear a meow and it’s coming from the refrigerator. Yes, it’s for real. Nyla.

I got a really small check from an insurance co as a rebate for my sisters’ premium. I took it to the bank but they wouldn’t take it because it says payable to ‘The estate of.."I sent it back to the company with a note to that effect; that the bank wanted me to open a separate account labeled Estate of…. For that one tiny check it wasn’t worth it. I told them they could have their check back and go buy a smoothie or a cookie.

That’s really spooky. Oliver should get away from that closet as quickly as possible. (It’s probably nothing to worry about, but better safe than sorry.) On another note, saw a varied thrush, three nuthatches, and four juncos while out walking today.
