Anyone who has a cat knows that’s a thing, they like to jump into empty boxes!

Well, you gotta pack her in something.

I can relate. I’m preparing to move to the other side of this complex. (After about 3 false alarms, it looks like we’re finally getting a downstairs apartment for Mom . . . we even know the number this time!) Sanibel doesn’t appreciate all the hustle and bustle, but like all cats, she is inexorably drawn to any and all boxes. Glad I don’t have a unicorn to deal with as well . . .

If you can’t have a unicorn, a cat is the next best thing. Dogs are great, too, but less like unicorns.

Cats and unicorns. Cats are magical creatures. As Kliban pointed out they can see things that we can’t. Terry Pratchett noted that Discworld cats could see Death when he was invisible to humans. Not all magical creatures believe that they’re the center of the universe but cats and unicorns do.
