I don’t know what Jarvis would be doing with a bidet. But the females in the household might be in for an exciting surprise.

Unusually for Meddick—very unusually—"lowly" is a malapropism. It means “low in status, unimportant, humble”. Practical jokes are a low form of humor. (On which point I would agree with Sedgwick, if I had any reason to believe he’s sincere.)
