You didn’t expect him to be interested in anything else, did you, Flo??
As one who doesn’t like beer. I doubt I would be interested.
Love their tans. They must have stayed in the pub.
A totally reasonable question.
There’s one called ‘Efes’ that’s available over here (probably others). Go find a can, Andy.
wellllll, you can’t say he didn’t try, can you now?!
I didn’t know that Turkey was a vacation destination!
And do they play football there? Right then, no more questions.
Ah, Efes.
I ALWAYS cook my Turkey with a beer baste. But it ain’t no holiday cookin’ it.
Wow they have company. I’m startled.
Be specific, Flo, Capp doesn’t get generalities.
What was the beer like and did the chicken taste like turkey?
Turkey??
What happened to Brighton or Blackpool?
Efes Pilsener
A fine question to ask Sober Stan! You gotta love Capp.
I don’t know if they have beer in Turkey.
And did they drink beer after playing football?
Be careful what Country you visit. You might get locked up. USA is getting that way.
Just looking for an area of mutual interest.
Turkey is a fascinating country and well worth visiting – not just the major cities but the entire country.
I always felt my 3-week tour of Turkey was far too brief. I’d love to go back again.
An honest question!
CLASSIC ANDY CAPP Dept.
An angry Flo comes home and finds the pan on the stove boiling over and black smoke is everywhere.
She calls to Andy. “I thought l asked yer to notice when the pan boiled over – !”
In the final panel, Andy is stretched out on the sofa. He casually replies, “I did – it was a quarter past eleven.”

I don’t see why Flo is so peeved. Andy was asking a perfectly legitimate question.
I was in Izmir in the mid 90’s, the Turkish people and the country was great, Effes beer, not so much
I remember I didn’t have any problem getting drunk there.
