Aunt Fritzi made the following initial entry in her next journal, while tending to a severely ill Sluggo:

“I do solemnly swear by the sacred bedpan to fix the patient, Sluggo Smith, and ease his wretched suffering, even until all hope is lost.”

It’s nice to see her hopeful in Panel 2, though, for a change.

A bought a journal once. Took about a week to never write in it again.

I’ll use that paint kit I bought from a bookstore. Some day…

Been there, done that. I don’t know how many journals I’ve abandoned after one or two entries over the years.

Grandma’s ancient stand mixer had a seizure and released the magic smoke over the weekend while mixing a batch of cookie dough.

I’m that way about most of my stuff.Can’t bare to just throw out the packaging for the item.
