When my grandmother reached 90 she had to find all new bridge and mah Jong players to play with. All the rest had died.

P.S. she lived to 103 and with all her marbles.

The only elders I have left are a few cousins.

Mr. O ran out of elders because he’s the oldest elder in in the retirement center.

I know how you feel. There seem to be fewer and fewer people who are older than me!

Not all elders should be respected. I’ll use Hitler and Stalin as examples since they’re dead.

My church teaches me to “respect the dignity of every human being.” My problem is when they don’t respect their own dignity.

My Mama taught me to respect everyone, older, younger, or same. And she said if they weren’t behaving as if they deserved respect you treat then with respect anyway and hope they’ll live up to it.
