That was in a Superman comic book. Modern versions of Superman don’t require a telephone booth. What they are wearing changes into his outfit.

My favorite Clark Kent into Superman moment is in the movie when he’s looking for a phone booth and all he can find is those public phones on an open shelf.

And do you know how Clark Kent messed with Lois Lane’s mind? Yep. He put eyeglasses on her dog.

Some day Clark will be able to change on the run.

As he did in the first modern Superman film.

Poor Superman. He got slightly squished!

As a kid and devoted reader of Superman comics, I always wondered how Clark could change in a phone booth without anyone noticing. But the biggest question was where did he put his street clothes, in particular the hat and shoes? But then I reminded myself, it’s a COMIC not to be taken seriously.

The Supreme Court Justices all drive motor coaches in case they have to change into their robes and become the Supremes. Clark Kent drives a mini pickup with a camper shell on the back.

A “Far Side” cartoon has Superman changing in a phone booth and checking the coin return, just in case.

I’m remembering the Deadpool 2 trailer when he was trying to change in the phone booth after hearing a guy getting robbed. I needed that laugh today!

I wonder what those frat guys thought when they saw Superman naked.
