At least he told him. Most cats would do it and take a nap.

Anybody else sneezed 237 times today? No? Just me? I hate spring. And it was 80 degrees. I’m not ready yet for hot weather.

I’m glad my cats would never do that to me, no matter how bored they get!

Should have been his sock drawer.

NATIONAL WAFFLE DAY. That’s where he should have poured the Lumberjack syrup! Not in the underwear drawer!

From yesterday’s comments, miztrniceguy said, “Congratulations! I have a little over a year to hit 20 with my employer, which gets me an extra week vacation for that year only.”

That’s crazy! One year only! I will be getting an extra 40 hours paid time off every year. I will have 256 hours of paid personal and vacation hours every year, plus 48 hours protected paid time off (PPTO) which we can use when we are unable to work scheduled hours, such as bad weather or illness. We use PPTO for that and we don’t get a “point” for being absent.

To jessegooddoggy – I’m so sorry to hear about your cat Joey! I hope he’ll be okay! I’m sending healing wishes your way.

I hope that cat knows how to prepare his own meals. No news yet, does that mean Joey made it through the night? May not hear hear from the doctor for another 2 hours, it’s 6 am here. If they are keeping him another night, I will make arrangements to visit him today.

I know this is slightly off topic and has nothing to do with cats: has anyone tried viewing political cartoons today? I find that the ones scheduled to be updated today are all blank. I hope this is not a foreshadowing of things to come with the “new and improved Go Comics”, as I thoroughly enjoy political cartoons. I’d like to be able to comment on them again, too.

Well, at least it wasn’t some cheap corn syrup.

I just did a search to discover that Lumberjack Syrup is real, and it’s pure maple syrup. That cat committed an expensive crime. Now on to the entertainment, “I’m a lumberjack, and I’m okay….”

He must be bored, or he wouldn’t have admitted to it.

What I want to know is when, if ever, we will get back to the adventures of Annie and the ten cats.

Could be worse, it could have Mrs. Butterworth’s. That cat may look like Oliver, but it’s not. Oliver would never do such a thing, even if he was bored. On another note, saw ten robins, fifteen juncos, a squirrel, a raven, and a spotted towhee while out walking today.
