It does not take much for a task to become totally intimidating for me, too.

They’re just up early! You’re super prepared.

Our Christmas lights around the deck are still up. Our excuse is that they became Valentine’s Day lights, then St. Patricks’s Day lights, now Easter lights. I think this time they’re staying up all year.. perhaps forever. Yay.

I feel ya! Took me a year, after I moved, to get my clothes out of containers and into a closet organizer! Every time I opened the closet and saw those bins…I did just what you did, Amanda!

Scope creep!

I took down the Christmas wreath that had been hanging on the door since 2020, only because the cats were after the mobile I made in art class. It is on the front door until I can find a safe place (someone else’s house maybe?) for it. Then the wreath goes back up. The Christmas wreath took the place of an Easter wreath that had been hanging there for 10 years.

When I have so much to do that I don’t know what to do first……that’s what I do!!! Rest up and think about it.

why Christmas stops being special

I’m guilty of this.

Leaving the stockings up saves you from having to dig out the Easter Baskets.

We have a closet that extends under the stairs. It’s a bit congested and has no light. I had to put in a battery operated LED motion sensor light. I knock it down with my head about half the time I go past it.

Holiday decor is no longer a strong point for this reason
