We had quite the storm blow through last night, 85k winds, hail that sounded like machine guns against the windows, and constant lightening that was like the camera flashes at a Hollywood premier. Shredded leaves and stuff all over the place this morning, but no trees down that I can see.

I get mesmerized watching storms like that. They can be awesome, but dangerous of course.

Good Morning all. I will have a plate of fresh fruit please. I had a bizarre dream that went on and on. I dreamt that my wife and i were in a hip hop clothing store with unbelievably low prices. I desperately wanted to take advantage of the sale and spent hours looking through the racks, but everything was cut large and baggy and the colors were garish. I finally ended up leaving empty handed and upset that I couldn’t buy something. I spent the rest of the dream trying to find my wife, adding to the frustration.

Well, I don’t think that we want doctortoon for president. We would find that his coffee would cause a major international crisis. It’s best he remains tribe shaman.

I am learning to cope with the one ear and there are options if it doesn’t come back. After seeing some of the guys at the VA Hospital, I can’t complain. I am fine.

The virus I have in my lung worries me more. At first all the hard breathing and coughing was going away, but the last two days it seems a little worse.

I am not sure if I am causing it by weight lifting. I am trying so hard to build my stamina back up. I will have to tell the doctor, but I am afraid he will tell me to stop weight lifting.

Our weather has cooled to a comfortable point over the last few days, but during our hottest days, I would think of you Marg, because I figured it was probably even hotter there.

Hello all. Just got back from a swim. Marg, you are right, many places here don’t have air conditioning. There were a number of people who were suffering. Weather is supposed to keep getting cooler over the next week with a chance of showers. I have gotten used to waking up to sunshine.

okay im back for a few mins… so to all of you who pray out there i need your help.

the little boy i watch came back from his moms house and has a burn across his face… its a 2nd degree in some places and 3rd in others. he will have that scar for the rest of his life. it goes from under his nose and inside it a little and up to under is eye, just missed the eye… on the left side of his face.

my poor baby boy he is 5 and has had a hard life just pray that…. i dont knwo what to pray for, but i do know he needs protection for all the harm that comes his way when he goes there BECAUSE HE IS NOT WATCHED AS MUCH AS NORMAL.

okay since my last post stired up worries let me just say this… the boy is just a little wild sometimes and should not have been in the kitchen to begin with, BUT he was. HE is NOT abused…. i sware to you. he was just in the wrong place at the worng time… his hard life is that he lost his uncle about a year ago. he doesnt live with his mom or dad but his gradparents and great grandparents. he goes to his moms every weekend and then get shiped to his dads for her. he doesn’t fill wanted on the weekends bc he is sent to his moms bc she says she wants to see them and the grandparents want her to be part of his life. his mom took in a few people to live with her bc they didnt have a place to go and since the boys or only there on the weekend gave the rooms to the people so he just feels lost. that was/is his hard life. he is not abused i sware i see him all the time he lives next door and he loves me and i love him and his two brothers as if they were my own. when they get home on sunday form there moms or dads the grandparents and myself do a once over and we show them love by just hugging them and telling them we love them. nothing like this has happened before he just needs to be more careful and stay out of places he should be. his eyes is fine, it was close to it but far away at the same time. thanks for the parerys

I’ve just caught up on the posts. I feel very sorry for that boy. I understand where you are coming from and how much love you give that boy. It just shouldn’t be that hard for him. He didn’t ask to come into this world and we as adults owe the love to the children. I am a strict parent, but there is never a lack of love and understanding. Prayers go out for his injury and tough times.

Second, as has been repeated before, we all worry about YOU very much and my prayers are there for you also.

tabbylynn I know what you and this boy are going through. If you have someone older you can trust, talk to them about this and see if they feel this is neglect, should be looked into, and if they will be the one to report it. In the meantime, heal the boy and love him - that’s the best you can do for him right now. And take care of number one - yourself. If you aren’t well, you can’t take care of anyone else.
