Ushindi Re: yesterdays’s comment. Sorry about that that. That whole Woodstock trip had me doing some digging, too. That’s when I found the lyrics to the Crosby, Still & Nash song. I just had to share.

Hey BC13. The song Woodstock is technically not a C, S, & N song. It was written by Joni Mitchell and just covered by the guys. Maybe it had something to do with Joni being a lover with one or more of the boys in the band.

Re: yesterday’s “Lennonist theory” someone suggested that it would be a Starrist theory since Ringo wrote the song. Well, since his real name is Starkey, wouldn’t make it a Starkist theory?

I love the recurring story line of the guy and his dog who die, go to heaven and come back time after time. Who knows? No one. Not you! Does he when he’s on earth? State of mind question? Well, I would assume that he should not be afraid to die. Does he know something we don’t (normally) know? Looks like it. At least in heaven he does.

BC13: Being saint-like,I forgive you - however, you might remember I mentioned yesterday I listened to Joni’s recording first, then CSN&Y’s next. I did manage not to watch the Woodstock DVDs, however - I watched the 49er-Miami Super Bowl instead. I can still hear the siren call of the Woodstock discs, though…..

Ushindi Saint-like? Haaadly. After reading your comment, I referred to my music bible. Joni’s version did not break Billboards hot 100, which is probably why I never heard of it even though being born in Canada. The Canadian air waves would have been inundated with Joni’s music at the time, but there were other Canadian musicians that I actually liked. Being roughly 9 years old, I was listening to AM top 40 at that time and my (small) record collection consisted of k-tel hits at the time. The C.S. & N. version reached #11 on Billboard in early 1970.

Love it! The lesson here is God is happy when you are out of options because you should rely on Him to help. You know when he is helping when you aren’t afraid anymore and nothing blocks your thoughts which will allow Him to help. :)
