Still stuck on whales.

She’s peeking Irwin…….

Our Whale seems a bit sullen at having to provide this service for Irwin. But it is a nice day….

That’s Broomie, not Irwin.

No, that’s not Irwin - notice the bather’s nose. That’s Broomie. Also, her clothes are laid out nearby.

You’re right, Edcole1961 and Johanan: sharp eyes! But will she be mad that you peeked?

Unless her magic allows her to break through the fourth wall, whether she’s mad or not doesn’t bother me. :))

Ugh, used shower water.

She should ZAP herself to dry.

I’m glad she’s covered in a lather.

They also spew a considerable amount of water, though naturally not nearly as much as air - much as we breathe our water vapor and clear our nostrils of some sea water when we come up for air. And if memory serves, different whale species can be told at a great distance by the shape and direction of their spouts, sperm whales like this one sending spouts forward…

Ah well, this ain’t cartoon biology class. :))

It was the whale’s decision to close his eyes. Broomie’s just being nice enough to tell him when it’ll be safe to look again.

From the position of the whales eyes, he can’t see Broomie on top of him, so closed eyes doesn’t make any diff.

Ugh. Broomie’s showering in whale snot…

A gentlemanly whale! Does anybody know the song that starts “The most chivalrous fish of the ocean” (no, it’s not a whale, it’s a shark, but this strip just reminded me of it)?

ok, I’ll give you the second line also: “to the ladies forbearing and mild”.

it helps to be of retirement age, or older, to have been exposed to this song when old enough to remember it.

I am a lover of animals, but a pet whale might be a little too much.

Hey, it was late at night, she looked like Irwin to me. ;-)

If Gaylord was nearby, he would probably tell the whale to “Dive! Dive! Dive!”

No sign of her ‘USMC’ shorts. Guess she kept them on at least!
