Alice really needs to go play with Calvin or Danae.

I think I see a quick, unhappy ending to this play date! (It’s about time Alice learned she’s not the boss at someone else’s house!!)

My cousin’s and I used to pretend we were horses on my grandfather’s farm. We would tuck towels into the waistband of our trousers in the back and pretend that they were tails. Eventually we got a real horse and one of my cousin’s has had horses ever since.

Saw a story last night about some horse herpes epidemic that was sweeping through a locality where they were holding the “Mounted Posse Junior Queen Riding Contest”. So the teens got into their fancy costumes, put on all that creepy JonBenet Ramsey junior beauty pageant makeup.. and pranced around the corral with stick horses. So this may come in handy someday.

Nara is a bit boring. Of course there are alligator pits and mud when you are playing horses. Otherwise what’s the point????

I think Alice’s and Nara’s life philosophies are quite incompatible.

@laragcYup. I loved pretending to be attacked/injured/ect when playing horses. It’s the best part!

I sympathize with Alice but when I was little I rode stick horses too. Then when I was ten I got a real horse..a fiery little mustang stallion that gave me all the excitement of volcanoes and alligator pits.

Alice and Nara can fly! Their feet aren’t touching the ground.
