Far be it from me to question the science I learn in the funnies, but didn’t yawning evolve first in fish? Hard to believe they’d be concerned with cooling their little cold-blooded fishy brains. Or is this adaptation, like fins becoming legs?

Come on, people, let’s get a symposium going here!

Funny I always thought one yawned when they were tired or bored. I know I do. I also know it’s contagious for some reason.

I am sure Earl didn’t listen what Opal said about the yawning. He happened to be yawned twice.

I’ve also heard of yawning as a threat display when tired or waking up to keep enemies at bay until you’re ready to deal with them.

I just LOVE being the one to “start a good yawn” around the room in a meeting! LOL

Yawning is caused by reading comic strips about yawning. I should know, I’ve yawned about thirty times now.
