With Zonker’s thinking, it occasionally pays to be a slacker.

With all the stuff going on in the world right now, this is the material GT came up with??? Makes one wonder.

why are you all compalining? It not you doing all the work.

Trudeau trusts his readership to be mature enough to recognize a repeat week and roll with it. Heaven knows he’s had to enough in the past.

So, this was an inside job. Round up the usual suspects.

It has also happened, in the past, that Garry would write a sequence that a newspaper deemed too ‘controversial’, and the paper would substitute something innocuous. But I wouldn’t expect that to happen here…

Or it could be as others have commented on earlier this week, this week’s strip may have had an arc that was overturned by time and events. One suggested arc was further lampooning of Trump’s presidential bid. That went south when Trump dropped out. Or it could have been any number of Middle Eastern threads that might now prove inappropriate given all the new problems there every day.So as has been said, just chill and roll with it.

After all, if you were getting your money’s worth, the screen would be blank.

I expect to see the silhouette of a fat man saying, “Good Evening.”

zoom feature makes this so much easier to use, only took what ten years?

I’ve got my ‘40: A Doonesbury Retrospective’ to read until we’re back to new stuff…hold on a minute…those are all repeats, too!! I stopped getting my e-mailed versions on Sunday for some reason…I thought GT was anticipating no more strips due to the Rapture. Instead, I’m guessing he’s taking time off for Memorial Day. Have a good one, everybody!

Yeah 997, two million + individual apologies should make up for everything.

Now Camping said he was slightly off, and the Rapture will be in Oct instead. Personally, I think he’s confusing Judgement Day with Columbus Day.
