Should’ve covered it up with a “broom closet” sign.

I am a different life form—and humans do frighten me. That’s why I’m here reading comics & not CNN or the NY Times.

Marg: How do you know I didn’t ask the question? (Although *my* guess would’ve been one of the pair in front.)

My doppleganger’s idiotic grin is beginning to annoy even me. Believe me, I don’t smile that much, let alone all the time.

marktrail: That is the premise behind Monsters, Inc. on the one hand and the SF novel The Killing Star on the other.

I’m frightened by the idea of frightening an alien life form. It frightens me just to think of the prospect of being frightened. By frightening things. That frighten you. Or aliens.

They had to give aliens their own separate Bathroom. It just takes them sooo long…

In The Killing Star, we frighten a species of aliens so much that they obliterate the whole human race (save for a few clever and/or lucky survivors) without warning.

What scares them? Michael Jackson et al. with the broadcast of “We Are the World” on the one hand and the various incarnations of Star Trek on the other.

Come on now, that “separate but equal” stuff just doesn’t fly anymore.

When I was in music school, there was a janitor’s closet between the men’s and women’s restrooms… and some enterprising soul replaced the door sign with one reading “Tenors”… it stayed up for years… might still be there in fact.

No, rdh288, the aliens were told to lay low. These are the humans they they were told to lay low from (so to speak). Some of us (myself included) mistook the intent at the beginning, but we recanted. Go back and re-read the strips, and the intent will become clear.

That symbol doesn’t mean “alien,” it means that’s where they store the germs they clean out of the two bathrooms. As long as no one opens the door, everyone gets out alive.

@Guy looking at the door (in strip): keep your mouth shut, buddy you’ve just put yourself on Fed radar. Agent X is one of the men in black and they don’t like having their cover-ups exposed as we all know…

Then ET walked out of that restroom, and the guy staring became a mutant because he needed to use it so badly.

Segregationist space station. As I recall that used to produce traces of resentment.
