I want to hear Jeff defend the way this storyline is being presented. Locher could be stuck in this rut for the next year and someone will be peeing all over themself with excitement. Touche’, Jeff!
Sorry Morrow, but unless you display the little “PRO” tag Jeffrey is under no obligation to defend anything. So it is written, so it shall be!
By the way, that’s a good fist drawn on Braces in the first panel. A+ to DL.(See Jeff, I can give praise also!)
Natasha looks like she wants to throwup. Could she be reading this story?
Well, DL must be doing something right – the suspense he’s built with this story has got you on the edge of your seats.
Remember what Capt. Patterson told Chet many, many years ago about criticism – whether they love you or hate you at least they are talking about YOU and reading your work – of course when he said this people actually had to PAY to read the strip.
(sets down a plate of CCCs for traditionalists and a platter of Scotcheroos for those who want to try something new) Treats are up! The Scotcheroos were refrigerated overnight, so they’re a bit hard right now, but that makes them better for throwing…
Say, I just noticed that the MF robot has a creepy hidden “face” on his chest – the reflections on his pecs are the evil eyes and the arc on his abdomen is a frowning mouth. It certainly looks a lot more menacing than MF’s actual face, which looks like it’s begging to be tossed a Scotcheroo. Here, MF – CATCH!
Eugeno, I realize your Pro status make your opinion more important then mine.(in the minds of certain people). Compared to how DL normally draws hands I still think today’s fist is much better, at least by comparison.
Jeff, it’s a stretch that people would pay to read the strip. That is flattery beyond belief. With you two (you and BNM) feeling the excitement, that may be all that DL needs to keep his heart from beating too fast. But there is a definite line between generating suspense and wasting paper and ink on a lame story that hasn’t moved in a month.
Wooing the reader with monotonous repetition is a figment of one’s imagination. Wishful thinking. It’s kind of like going to a crowded coctail party with a serious case of indigestion - risky business.
And being on the edge of my seat is because I’m going to go to the lobby to watch the corn pop. That’s more interesting.

Once again Braces looks different. Panel 2 is a new look for our procrastinating Villain.

But wait – what’s his motivation? Can we PLEASE take a week or so to explain why he’s mad at this corporation?

Hi All - I’m looking for DT comic strips from the 1990 to 2001… any suggestions? trades?

Someone colored in Braces’ face in panel 1. At least they were between the lines.
If anyone needs me, I will be busting into illigitimate business…

It seems that MF has been rolled into the closet for quick, easy storage.
