Perhaps had the great defective not allowed her to get away, then people would not be in danger. So, is Noll a cyber-bomber? What does that entail, sending an e-mail that says BOOM? Does the CIA have plates like that, are they really that obvious? This could explain pre-war intelligence, or lack thereof.
Uh, I think cyber-bomber is a name for mass emailer. Or spammer. What on earth has THAT got to do with this story? I thought the CIA guy was after a terrorist bomber?
Locher probably heard the word “cyber” in a Wal-Mart and thought it sounded hi-tech enough to use as a filler in this story. Too bad he didn’t check it out. You gotta love that undercover CIA car! WOW! A spammer, at that, too!
no doubt angelwhatever is going to crash into CIAgent, but Tracy is going to be arrested as the “terrorist” because he is driving the car with the GPS beacon in it
and when my bruised and battered forehead heals (from all the SMH and OMG action this strip provokes) maybe I will be able to go out in public again
If Gould’s original, classic work on Dick Tracy had been so clumsily assembled and haphazard, none of us would be here now – it would have been cancelled and forgotten years ago.

Like you, I also try to. What I thought was unintentional, and significantly funny was panel 2 on Sunday, where the yellow duckie has (as it has for some time), been morphed into a mammary and it is seen riding like an uncovered “falsie” on Angelorious’ back seat. This at a time when “Ange” was complaining about “false” formulas!
The depiction really cracked me up. It boggles the mind to think that Locher didn’t realize the impact it would create.
It had more traction than the regular “laugh-a-day” comic strips!
Perhaps by now Locher is begining to realize, that without trying and by just being his normal self, he is introducing real “humor” into Dick Tracy. It’s so much better than that faked B.O.Plenty “hick” type tripe.
hey, if he didnt throw stuff in her face instead of arresting her, we would be denied this thrilling chase scene. I , for one,(and probably the only one) am on the edge of my seat waiting for next month’s riveting conclusion
Dick Locher sat by his desk, a sinister sneer forming on his evil lips.
“Let’s see, what can I do that will drive Sickney, Sorrow, Fat boy Norman, Buttmanbob, Croakenstein, Howard the Duck and the rest of those miserable vermin nuts today, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA””””
“I AM GOLLUM” leaned over and whispered in Dick’s ear.
“YES!! YES THAT”S IT!!! I’ll draw the CIA agent’s car with a license plate that says CIA. It’ll make them want to barf”!
Locher began to work hard on his evil plot to turn the minds of all Dick Tracy admirers into mush. He ran into a problem with what to draw for the last panel. Suddenly “THE NAMELESS ONE” jumped on Locher’s lap and offered him some inspiration. Leaping from his chair and causing “THE NAMELESS ONE” to fall on his rear, Locher hissed his approval of the idea.
“YYEESSSSSS, having Tracy say something stupid like’ “She’s going too fast for conditions. She’s going to kill someone”. Will cause them to scream in agony. “
Together, the unholy trio of Locher, “I AM GOLLUM” and “THE NAMELESS ONE” all growled and howled out wicked laughs at the unfortunate Tracy readers.
“No, Detective Tracy. She did not kill herself. You killed her, Detective Tracy.” says the ever-competent Lt. Teevo as he pulls out his laminated card from which he will read Tracy his Miranda Rights. Meanwhile, the world-famous Algonquin J. Calhoun arrives at Naperville’s Courthouse to file civil charges against the City of Naperville and Det. Tracy in what will be the first winning case Calhoun has had in his life.
