Those $ signs on the bags are really nice. Try walking somewhere with those and see how long you last. Must be a part of the story. The bad guys want EVERYBODY to know you can get rich at their casino.
The dollar signs kinda remind me of Richie Rich comics.
Let me soo if I understand this. The casino can control whether or not BO can win or lose. And this is part of some sort of scheme. Probably to make themselves even richer, right? So, if they can control the outcome from the beginning why do the need a scheme? Just regulate who wins and loses enough to keep a steady flow of cash coming in. Oh, wait! Isnt that how they do it IRL?
Tracy couldnât remember how much money heâd lost over the years at the casinos.
He never could get the hang of Black Jack even though Queenie tried to teach him the inâs and outs of the game. Remembering her âlessonsâ brought a smile to his face.
âLook at this hick holding all that moneyâ Tracy angrily thought, â IT ISNâT FAIRâ!
âYOU were lucky, B.O.â Dick said sarcastically.
âDang, this city boy shur enough is a jealous Son of a Possumâ, B.O. chuckled.
Tâwernt nuthinâ to it, Racyâ!
B.O. loved to call Dick by different names, knowing how much it ticked him off.
Dick walked back to his car and drove away, a smug look on his face.
âKnowing B.O. like I do, those winnings will soon disappearâ. Tracy said out loud as he pondered what to do about all the dandruff on his eyebrows.
B.O. started walking up to his house, eager to brew up some fresh moonshine. Where was that yard bird of his when he needed her?
âGERTRUDE! Get yoreself out here! Guess whut just appearedâ!
B.O. felt like celebrating and wanted Gertrude to throw some fresh road kill on the grill.
âSydney, may I ask where this âother boardâ is I hear you reffered to from time to time? THXâ
Sorry for the delay but here it is
Dick Tracy : Dick Tracy Fans Online
(Hope the link works)⊠YOU WILL NEED TO âTYPEâ IT IN, FOR âSEARCHâ ON YAHOO.
It was started by a young die hard fan named Beau Kaelin (he likes villain âBeau Toxâ) ;). in 1999 and has comment Archives that go back to inception. Usefull for those that like that. About 220 members but few post.
Ther is a lot less âcommentâ there these days ⊠I guess most are sort of âturned offâ making the same complaints over and over ⊠while nothing in the strip changes. Itâs alleged that Locher reads that board. I donât know for sure.
Of note, recently departed Matt is there but is behaving himself. HE who was âafraidâ of no man, is now as quiet as a mouse.

~ Thanks for the repost, I hadnât seen it. So, we do have a new artist. That explains the well drawn hand in panel 2. And Iâm happy that the hat is back.
Dypak, My guess is that One-Eyed Jack (the second) is trying to rip off top boss âBig Aceâ for âpersonalâ gain.
The âquestionâ on where B.O. keeps his money (see April strips) suggests an intention to rob him and other winners later.

Sydney,
Looking back you could be right. My question is why? Why rob them? Theyâre getting all his money anyway, legally. So why set him up to rob him. And wonât they be stealing their own money back? Itâs just odd.

Why itâs BO with two, count âem, two money bags!

The stairs in front of the house are longer than the ones on Mount Niesen.

WellâŠat least Racyâs hat is back. BOâs head looks like a spinning top in panel 1. âŠSighâŠ

Look at those eyebrows in the second panel! Groucho Marx would be envious.
That is a good hand on the steering wheel, though.

Except for the giant brow in the second panel, I think the art work is good today. Very good.

Interesting that no matter what direction B.O. turns, the dollar signs on the bags are always centered.
They must be two-dimensional bags.

Tracy got nothing on Detective Joe Minotaur.

Yes! I understand that they are special Slot Machine Bags. They keep on ârollingâ around until B.O. stops. Curtesy Jackâs Casino!

Hey Sydney, looks like youâve been âDe-linkedâ. Canât promote the competition I guess.
Is B.O. holding Dr. Nolls love potion #9 in his hands?

I insist that Beau K. is the son of Posey. An assertion that he vehemently denies.
