Red and Rover by Brian Basset for June 11, 2011
Transcript:
Rover: Wowsers. We didn't get stung by those angry wasps! Red: That's Because we didn't run. Army rangers don't run. Army rangers lead the way. Still, that was close. Rover: Can you lead the way home then? I think I've had enough playing d-day for one day. Red: Yeah, let's go. I wanna give my dad a big hug.

This strip should win some kind of award somewhere. It has my vote.

I like how this series ended. Especially the comment Red makes in today’s second panel. Instead of the typical cartoon ending of having the wasps chase them all the way home. Great series Brian!

I’m glad I discovered Red & Rover here on Go Comics. It is so much better than Adam. (Adam tends to annoy me sometimes).

I found today’s Sunday comic on Arcamax. Don’t know why it’s not updating.

So, what happened to the strip for the 12th?
GROG Premium Member over 13 years ago
I don’t know what happened, but today’s strip was e-mailed to me, among others I read, by GoComics. I since deleted the e-mail.
