Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Poor Calvin, he never gets to do what he wants. Next thing you know; heâll be hauled off in shackles and thrown into the dungeon . . . and forced to do . . . math; and spelling, and other creepy stuff like that.
Back in the classroom:Spiff looks around the abode of the disgusting scum being and sees a sea of brainwashed fallen little heroes mouthing the same gibberish the awful alien is spouting. Our hero realizes his fate here so he bolts toward the door.
Unfortunately, my first son was an angel. The second son was a lot like Calvin. If they hadnât looked so much alike, people wouldât have believed they were brothers.
My brother had a similar experience, however, it was the principal who dragged him in from recess. My brother bit him on the hand, which didnât help.
When recess ended, Calvin had two options: either go back into the classroom, or run and try to make it down the slide one more time. Not wishing to do the former, Calvin chose the ladder. And, with his teacher, the second choice seemed to Calvin to be a far more interesting pursuit.
Umm Susan ⊠Calvinâs six years old. At that age, pretty much all girls are icky. (Back in the 60âs girls had the cooties). Exceptions were somestimes made, if the girl was tough and didnât mind getting dirty.
Speaking of recess, the Senate now âwent on recessâ, and for a long time they have been acting like a âCalvinâ. Little kids not knowing when enough is enough, and playing games with our future. Maybe next time they will get their act together before the last minute. This time, the damage is already done. Say hello to higher interest rates coming your way shortly.
I love Calvin!! :) He reminds me of me as a child, lol. If a teacher actually laid a hand on a student now to make them behave, even if it were gently, theyâd be fired or severely chastised. So stupidâŠ

I love the Spaceman Spiff stories. Reminds me of every science fiction novel and short story I read in the 1960s.

How is Hobbes pronounced? Like Ho as in HO, Ho, Ho? Or as in Hobsonâs Choice?

âThe Authority Songâ by John C. Mellencamp. He could have written this song for Calvin.

Ms. Wormwood is actually only in her twenties. Associating with Calvin has aged her prematurely!
