Ripley's Believe It or Not by Ripley’s Believe It or Not! for July 14, 2011
Transcript:
It takes about 7 gallons of oil to create enough chemicals and energy to make a typical auto tire! Termites invaded a bank in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh, India, and chewed through about 10 million Rupees ($225,000) in cash! Ron White of La Crosse, Wis., USA, estimates he has amassed a collection of dragons worth $250,000!

“White thinks he has upwards of 1,500 dragons. He hasn’t counted. He is pretty certain it could be a world record.
He’s not sure if Guinness has a category, or how to check…
…If nothing else, he’d like to get the attention of Ripley’s Believe it or Not."
I guess Ron White at least got THAT wish granted!

If Termites can eat wood then termites can eat money. That’s a robbery.

Large dragons—- maybe a problem. Komodo dragons are real enough, you can buy them at certain pet stores I think.

Don’t know about India, but ashes etc of badly damaged US notes can be at least partially redeemed by a certain government agency.

India needs another medium of exchange. The rupee has too many ‘bugs’ in it!
