Petey’s worse than my old dog!

Alice’s narrative says it all!

Petey looks like a Secret Service agent. Albeit a very neurotic one.

I’m with Alice. Sorry, Petey. Ooh!

Am I missing something? I understand why Petey has the blanket and cotton balls. But why the shades when he’s under the blanket?

look at the cross hatching… the man is nuts! nuts I tell you!

Petey looks like the Mad Scientist from “The NIghtmare Before Christmas.”

Nothing will help Petey when they start shooting off the ‘blanks’.. those fireworks that make a single white flash and the loudest BOOM! that ever rattled your fillings to their very core.

I’m with Petey. I haven’t liked fireworks for years. Happy Independence Day.

I used to watch them from across Lake Michigan -that way the noise and smell of gunpowder was a minimum. Now it’s too hot to go out. I like New Years when I can watch one city after another on TV-pretty but noxious!

I guessed Petey doesn’t like fireworks.

Petey is such a baby!

Petey’s childhood trauma is simply childhood.

Before that there was birth-trauma; nobody asked him whether he wanted to be born. I’d imagine the womb was pretty much to his liking, were it not for the disturbing suspicions of how he got there.

As an adult, I picture Petey as a second Bartleby:“I’d prefer not to…”

How did he know she said anything if he couldn’t hear her?

I once saw a cute fireworks picture. Two kids with hands over the ears. Third kid with hands in his pockets and headpiece of his cochlear implant hanging off.

Petey goes through life like a timid chihuahua. Tell him to stay away from Mooch of “Mutts” and Lady Gaga concerts!

That’s actually how I often watched fireworks as a child. In the car with my hands over my ears.
