Yes they do.But it’s still difficult to defame the infamous.. (Funny how the non-word “defamate” would sound better in that context. :) )

Defamation doesn’t necessarily involve character; only fame.

Well, at least he isn’t a tax attorney, patent, copyright, trademark, small potatoes- well unless you try to use Mickey Rat.

The copyright lawer should look at Pearls Before Swine today, not that a version of Stephen Pastis isn’t in jail already.

My brother was one and deserved very bit of the reputation. Cheated not only most clients but our parents and me- did it as a realtor too- There should be a national data base for those professions (and doctors too) just to protect us all from those who move to escape bad reputations.

Ooh…so sorry vldazzle; it really hurts when a family member cheats you.
