Looks like Petey’s had an attitude adjustment (and not for the better). Gonna be interesting to see the “older” characters mix with the new. Glad it’s not Friday!
Wally’s having a very confusing time. Underground city, then talking crabs, then catnip, then mouse-cat love, then racism without races, then secret missions, then robot people… When he has a conversation with a glass of water, nothing will surprise him any more.
Hmm, I cannot wait to see what kind of “skills” Wally has that Blackie finds so useful to this satellite destruction mission. And about Petey; I don’t necessarily think that his attitude has been adjusted. Maybe it is just his way of greeting the greenhorns?
Petey was always very sarcastic when dealing with Al and Gustine during their trip. No people skills. He may have lightened up somewhat when given the freedom of a smaller body, but his personality was still shaped by being treated as a “thing” by his Topsider masters. Being in the presence of Flask and Mallard can’t have helped him.

Petey! He’s back! Now, what about Al and Gustine? Al has smarts, and Gustine has brute strength to add. Very helpful for damaging stuff.

Huh. I didn’t know this, but apparently Jacob Jackrabbit made it to WorldCon. “Why are we not invading the surface world right now?”

Wally and Petey, two guys and the women that love them.I have a feeling that Petey and Wally have a lot more in common than they realize.
