Frazz by Jef Mallett for August 18, 2011
Transcript:
Coach Hacker: Frazz knew I was paying you to do my songwriting homework and he let me keep doing it? Caulfield: Busted. Coach Hacker: That's dishonest! Caulfield: Oh, and you're like the pope, here. Coach Hacker: You're right. Nobody comes out looking too good. Caulfield: I got $120 to get better at writing.

LOL Good thing I wasn’t drinking anything or I’d be out a keyboard! I just love Caulfield. He is the star of the show!

Whoa! Caulfield is a lucky kid
To make that kind of money.
Just how much dough per hour did
he get for being funny?
When I turn out that kind of stuff,
It hardly takes a minute.
This one may sound a little rough,
But there’s no motive in it.
You oughta see what I could do
For a hundred twenty bucks!
At Caulfield’s rate for an hour or two
There’s far less chance it sucks.

Forgot to say, in my thanks above — Eric A that was sweet.

Caulfield as a brilliant career ahead as a politician—or a business consultant!

Er, was (am) I stupid but I remember being paid in change as a youth.

Enough with the song writing already. What is this? Luann?

@kpoulsen — I like this story line. As someone who can play and write music but who can’t sing or write lyrics to save my life, this has all been very relatable.

I’d write his songs for HALF that!
