I fully expect very soon we’ll have a huge earthquake on the San Andreas Fault, and everything east of California will fall into the Atlantic Ocean.

You must be in my vicinity. . .

Actually, New Madrid should only be due for something in the 6.5 to 7 range. But given that we’re way behind on building to code around here, and all the wonderful gas and oil pipelines running from Texas to the northeast running right through the fault zone—same difference!

Yesterday I finally repaired the earthquake damage in my place. I picked a thermometer off the floor and put it back on the bookshelf.

That had nothing to do with the earthquake, pschearer. When the thermometer drops it just means that summer’s coming to an end.

Well here we’re glad hot summer has ended so tired of 100+ temps. Do not winter weather so soon.

Watch out, Joe — with the diaper off you might get hit with the follow-up hurricane and flooding!
