Well Sheldon couldnât say the Democrat candidates are depressing him BECAUSE. THERE. ARE. NONE! âŠ..And YES, I beleive Heart is âplaying Dean like a Harpsicordâ.
It always cracks me up how people insert the Presidentâs middle name, as if itâs supposed to elicit a reaction. If, in the near future, someone commits a heinous act, and that personâs last name happens to be the same as your middle name, would you change it?
Herman Cain is the most intelligent and accomplished person to run for President in over half a century. In addition, he has a great personality. How can that be depressing⊠unless you are bothered by the color of his skin?
My first impulse was to write âMark you blew itâ, because it was entirely predictable that the comments to this strip were going to be politically-driven, far in excess of whatâs actually inherent in the strip. But then, only a tiny minority of the readership of this strip is actually going to be reading this thread.
I suspect that the mention of the GOP presidential field was intended to be little more than a throw-away gag, particularly since this is a Friday; I doubt tomorrowâs strip will pick up on that aspect, and instead will simply move the Dean-Heart-Sheldon triangle plot forward.
Still, I wish Tatulli had just had Sheldon assuming Dean was upset about something less charged, like the Phillies being eliminated in the playoffs (although of course he wouldnât have known THAT at the time he wrote the strip).
Cainâs 999 plan. Classic Republicanism. A massive tax cut for the rich. A massive tax increase for the poor and middle class. All Râs want this. Just in different forms.
It amazes me how many Republicans signed Grover Norquistâs no new taxes pledge are now advocating higher taxes for poor and middle class people. Of course, Râs donât recognize them as human.
âThank you, N-G49. Itâs people like you who give us âfurrinersâ some hope for America, despite what you let happen to it in the Bush years.â
__⊠âlet happenââŠ?You hoping that we were all ready to âtake up arms in defense of ourâ (and occasionally your âfurrinerâ) libertyâŠ? Pshaw!
__Most Americanâs heads are still in their pockets⊠or the baloney on âreality TVâ and on little elseâŠ

Dean should go dressed as something really scary. How about the economy?

Iâll vote for any Republican for President, because even the worst of them would be better than you-know-who.

Remember Saddam Hussein was a nom de guerre, trying to claim some connection to the Hashemite royal line.
John Wayne was really Marion Michael Morrison.

Thatâs true, they wouldnât. Just because a president inherits a mess doesnât mean he made it.

Left, right, donât matter, theyâre all the same. Washington has become a hive of scum and villainy on both sides of the aisle.
