It’s one thing that has always escaped my logical mind: who decides that something is fashionable? How many people (or tigers) have to start wearing Mickey Mouse pants before they are “in.”

Ah yes, the height of fashion.

Shoulder pads, leg warmers and miniskirts.

Parachute pants.

Stirrup pants.

Oversize sweat tops—often with ripped-off neck hems.

Disco outfits.

Platform Shoes and hot pants.

Neon colors.

And other stuff, too numerous to mention.

Micky mouse pants might be cool some day.

I bet the chicks dig it!

Oh Calvin, Get over it! Both you AND Hobbes are cool.
