    davidf42: No, the mother should be given a citation and commendation for CARING about her son’s morals! Statements like yours is what is wrong with today’s society, to whit: Make everyone feel good, don’t hurt anyone’s psychy lest they might turn out to be productive citizens.

    Teddy, Shirl, SeaFox, SAM – I agree about the discipline issue and I am not a liberal. I do however believe that there are better ways to discipline and teach a child morals without humiliating them.
