The 1849 US goal dollar coin was so small, only 13 millimeters in diameter, that it had to be redesigned because too many people lost them! On Aug. 21, 2011, a mother in Townsville, Queensland, Australia, made her son wear a sign in public after catching him shoplifting that said: Do not trust me. I will steal from you as I am a thief Silence of the toads! And Australia, as much as 66% of a young Australian cane toad's diet is made up of other, smaller cane toads!

davidf42: No, the mother should be given a citation and commendation for CARING about her son’s morals! Statements like yours is what is wrong with today’s society, to whit: Make everyone feel good, don’t hurt anyone’s psychy lest they might turn out to be productive citizens.

I agree, Teddy. Too many parents are too permissive these days, and any thought of discipline is immediately labeled “child abuse” by Ignorant Liberals™.

Teddy, Shirl, SeaFox, SAM – I agree about the discipline issue and I am not a liberal. I do however believe that there are better ways to discipline and teach a child morals without humiliating them.

Know something else about cane toads? The males will attempt to mate with just about anything organic, live or dead. They must have no mores at all.

Sounds like good population control by the Australian Cane Toad but, from what AussieDownUnder says it doesn’t seem too be working.
