See, I never buy 2% cos I figure I don’t have time to fish out all the little bits of milk.

And if I were a vegan, I’d have to buy soy milk in cartons…

I really wouldn’t have time to milk all those little beans myself.

They just want to stock up.

My fridge won’t hold an infinite amount of non-fat.

No, whole milk is 3%, less fat is 2%, lesser still is 1%, and non-fat is skimmed.

I am the 2%.

Am I getting the joke – is it being implied that 1 gallon whole milk = 50 gallons of 2%?

Or 100 Gallons. of 1%…

So how many gallons of skim milk then?

way over my head …. I still don’t get it even after reading all the helpful comments.

One day at the grocery store, I actually heard a man and woman come to the conclusion that if you buy 2%, you are getting less milk. And they were dead serious too. The scary thing, they were passing this “knowlege” onto their children.

I am the 0% in this situation…we used to be part of the 2%, but decided to move to skim a while back. I recently tried some 2% after having done only skim for the last few years and the 2% drank heavy to me.

Do I need to hold up a sign with a diatribe about skim milk and decrying the fat cats who drink whole milk and then take a pic to post on the internet?

I thought whole milk had 4 % fat content.

2% milk is just that.2% milk and 98% water. I can not stand the stuff.
