“Private guard” is the equivalent, I suspect, of a Star Trek redshirt…. Today’s “camera angles” are great! And if the “name reverse” is a Gould DT hallmark, so too is the villainous catch-phrase, “Don’t call me [descriptive nickname]!”
I am trying to figure out why a Dangerous Criminal would be temporarily furloughed from prison (even under guard) just to participate in a TV show. The Tracyverse Penal System is sure different from ours….The guard looks like Elwood Blues (who else would be wearing sunglasses indoors?)
I’m not the sharpest crayon in the box these days. I was working on that name “Naiv” for a little while. As our kids say “lol” or as Tarry P. says, “(grin)” You know the private guard has to be a real tough guy to get the job, come on you guys have an imagination this is good stuff!
That guard almost looks like Stan Lee.I’m sure the “master of make-up” will find a way to change his look and sneak out the door… or am I giving the plot away?
I’m not absolutely sure about this, since I’m not in on the day to day script-writing, but I suspect the “guard” is a state correctional officer, not private security. The guys in charge of the penal system might give a furlough, but they wouldn’t trust private security. Niav’s use of “private,” in this context, means, if I’m correct, “my own personal guard.”
The network got Harley out of prison just for a TV show? Typical “reality” TV stunt. That’s why I never watch EFEXX.(Actually, Team Tracy got it backwards: at least three “Dancing with the Stars” graduates went on to careers in prison.)
On second thought, I’m surprised no reality TV show has ever gotten someone out of jail just for the program.Of course, a lot of such shows have featured celebs and wannabes with minor arrest records.
Someone asked the other day about MS Steffihawk. She is a new character to the strip. Our friend Stephanie is in the SCA with my wife Carole, and years ago she misidentified a bird as a hawk, so the local members call such birds Steffihawks.

This reminds me of an old Locher plot. Am I right? Was it a play where Tracy had to run and hide from the bad guy?

Ray CYou mean Johnny Nothing 2010 - (Grandson of the Blank)**. . ..and that great RUN to hide ? It was a defining character sequence

I’d hate to see Locher’s “work” dignified.

The last person who didn’t like his nick name, ended up SNAPPING ON HIS PARTNER .Wonder if Putty will have the same fate?
greg1martin almost 13 years ago
Well, Harley will become someone else and leave. Tracy will have to find him and tell everyone, “I told you so!”

Putty Puss will never leave the studio. He doesn’t care about escaping because he’s so crazy for revenge on DT. You read it here first.

I love the seductive sexy look Christmas Early is giving to Tracy in panel 2.

Folks, I want to explain that my one and only eye isn’t as good as it used to be. When you see typos from me, please excuse me.

If this is taking pace at The Science Museum, I wonder which version of the museum will be used?
